Having been shortlisted as one of five photographers in the Sony World Photography Awards - Architecture & Design - 2021 Professional competition (together with three finalists) is a tremendous honour, considering that 330,000 pictures were submitted by photographers from 220 countries, out of which 30 finalists and 58 shortlisted photographers were chosen for all ten categories of the professional competition. I am among only two photographers contributing from Switzerland. Of the 88 finalists and shortlist candidates, Spiegel Online has made their own selection of eight photographers and I am extremely honoured to be one of them.
